How To Make Weed Rice Krispies ( Recipe, Instructions )

If you want to start your day with a snap, crackle and pop, then why not whip up a batch of rice krispy treats?

If you can boil water, then you can make this simple and delicious sugar-rush treat to put a zing into your day.

First, we’ll start with an easy-to-make cannabutter recipe.

Easy-to-make Cannabutter


½ cup salted butter

¼ ounce finely ground marijuana buds


Place the butter in a saucepan and slowly melt on a low heat

Add the ground cannabis and, stirring frequently, slowly simmer for 45 minutes

Strain the butter to remove weed debris

Using a spatula or wooden spoon, press down against the marijuana to extract every last drop

Use a glass container with an airtight lid to store the butter

Refrigerate until ready to use

Basic Recipe for Rice Krispy Treats


90 grams salted butter

7 cups small white marshmallows

Pinch salt

7 cups rice krispies


Grease a 20 x 30 cm cake tin

Line with greased baking paper

Melt butter, marshmallows and salt over low heat until smooth

Add rice krispies and mix well

Add the ingredients to the cake tin

Using a spatula, press down the mixture to get rid of any air bubbles

Allow to cool and set

When completely cool, cut into squares


Use pink marshmallows and strawberry puffed cereal to make Pink Rice Krispy treats

Salted caramel desserts are all the rage today, so why not convert that into a rice krispy treat? It’s relatively simple and really worth that little extra effort.

Salted Caramel Rice Krispies Treats


200g rice krispies

150g small white marshmallows

1/3 cup flax-seed

2 Tbscannabutter

100g dark chocolate

1 tsp salt

Caramel (see recipe below)

¼ cup butter unsalted

½ cup sugar


Melt the cannabutter in a pot

Add the marshmallows and continue to melt over a low heat, stirring often

Once mixed through and smooth, add the mixture to a large bowl in which you have placed the rice krispies

Add the flax seed and fold through the mixture

Using a spatula or wooden spoon, press down onto the rice krispies to get rid of any air bubbles



Melt ¼ cup unsalted butter and ½ cup sugar over a medium heat

Continuing to stir, slowly add 1 teaspoon of salt

Remove from heat when the mixture turns brown and bubbly

Now drizzle the caramel over the rice krispies mix and allow to cool

Place a dish containing the 100g dark chocolate over a pan of boiling water

Once melted, pour over the caramel layer

Refrigerate for one hour

Voila. You are ready to indulge in your decadent rice krispy treat.
